IMPACT at Social Care Ireland Conference
IMPACT representatives attended Social Care Ireland’s 2016 Annual Conference in Naas, on the 14th and 15th of April. This year’s event was entitled ‘Balancing Care: Recognition and regulation in the Era of Professionalisation’. Read more here.
The Dublin Care Services Branch held a successful Annual General Meeting on Monday the 22nd of February. The 2015-16 Branch Annual Report includes reports from Officers and members of the Branch Executive Committee. Caring – at what cost? Campaign Website now live
Based on the UL ‘Caring – At What Cost?’ report commissioned by IMPACT’s Health & Welfare Division last year, IMPACT have launched a campaign to restore pay for Community & Voluntary sector workers, through the gradual reversal of funding cuts to agencies which rely on State funding.
