Institutes of Technology
The Institutes of Technology Branch was formed in January 2008. A Vocational Group previously existed and with the persistence and commitment of our retired Chairman Vincent Lennon the Union agreed to the formation of an Institutes of Technology branch to represent administrative staff working within the 14 Institutes of Technology (IoTs).
The National Branch Committee includes a representative from each institute including a Membership Secretary, Training Representative, and a Retired Members Representative plus the Chairperson, Vice-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. Each institute has established a House Committee nominated by the members of the respective institute. The Chair of the House Committee is normally the National Branch Executive Representative.
