IMPACT workplace representatives’ training Level 2
2017-2018 applications open
IMPACT is now inviting applications for the 2017-2018 phase of its level two ‘Making an IMPACT’ workplace representatives’ training modules, which get under way in October 2017. Almost 500 IMPACT members have so far graduated from the training, which helps them to be confident and effective workplace representatives.
Courses will be run on the following dates:
|Dublin||4th October 2017, 24th November 2017, 7th December 2017, 18th January 2018|
|Sligo||8th November 2017, 12th December 2017, 16th January 2018, 8th February 2018|
|Cork/Limerick||6th December 2017, 10th January 2018, 13th February 2018, 8th March 2018|
This training is aimed at experienced branch activists. Applicants for this training course require previous experience in the branch or to have completed Level 1 Workplace Representative Training.
Participants are expected to attend all four course modules, which are:
- Module 5 – Leadership and teams : building effective IMPACT branches
- Module 6 – Rights at work and collective bargaining
- Module 7 – Workplace equality: delivering for all IMPACT members.
- Module 8 – Introduction to political economy
