Huge support for health action
IMPACT members in the health service will take industrial action from 21st May over the HSE recruitment freeze and its effect on services and staff. The union’s health service members backed action by 85% to 15% in the largest ever vote of its kind undertaken by the union. more

HSE plans to move 30 Kilkenny jobs to Cork and Leitrim, and 20 jobs from Limerick to Manor Hamilton, breach a 2004 agreement designed to protect staff and services when the HSE replaced the health boards, and will be resisted by IMPACT. more
