LRC confirms loss of earnings will be compensated following redeployment

The Labour Relations Commission (LRC) has confirmed that staff who lose “regular and structured earnings” following redeployment under the Croke Park agreement will be compensated with one and a half time the value of the annual earnings lost, paid in two equal instalments a year apart. more

Croke Park implementation Body established

Following the endorsement of the Croke Park agreement by ICTU’s Public Services Committee, the Implementation Body has been established under the terms of the deal and held its first meeting today. The body is chaired by PJ Fitzpatrick, the former chief executive of the Courts Service and, before that, the Eastern Regional Health Authority.more

Public service unions ratify acceptance of ‘Croke Park’ public service agreement

The ICTU Public Services Committee (PCS) this afternoon (Tuesday) voted to ratify the ‘Croke Park’ public service agreement by a margin of almost two-thirds. The Committee represents all the significant public service unions and associations except those representing Gardai and the defence forces. more

Labour Court tells HSE to engage on 2004 agreement and Croke Park

The Labour Court has ordered the HSE to reengage with IMPACT to reach agreement on the post-Croke Park status of an existing 2004 agreement, which has protected IMPACT members’ jobs and working conditions since the abolition of the old health boards and the formation of the HSE in 2005. more
